Valcour Race — Valcour Sailing Club

The race is governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing of the ISAR as adopted by the US Sailing Association 1997-2000, except as altered herein. Any change of these instructions shall be announced by the Race Committee prior to the start of the race. The race is a Category B event. Competitors must be members/invitees of the Lake Champlain Racing Conference, be in compliance with appropriate Federal/State regulations, and have a valid PHRF certificate issued for Lake Champlain

The event is open to all LCRC classes racing in classes A, B C, D and Cruising.

The warning signal will be 10:30

Class A Start 10:36
Class B Start 10:39
Class C Start 10:42
Class D Start 10:45
Cruising Start 10:48

Registration is through the Lake Champlain Racing Conference.

Sailing Instructions will be available at he Race Committee Boat.

Penalties, as give in rule 44, The Rules of Sailing, apply, any protest must be in accordance with the ISAF rule 61, must notify the RC at the finish, and must be written and given to the RC on the day of the race.

Scoring is by LCRC.
