Why: We all need a primer for the season and a venue to ask the ones that know.

How much: $5 dollars to cover the cost of the room, photocopies, etc.

What to bring: Questions, something to munch on & self.

When: 7:00 PM Monday April 12, Tuesday 27 and Monday May 17.

Monday April 12^th, 1999 - Local NBC affiliate Channel 5 weekend weather anchorman Gib Brown will give a practical talk on wind & weather behavior as it applies Lake Champlain & sail racing.

Tuesday April 27^th, 1999 - Shore Sails loft manager & US Pan Am Games Lightning representative Bill Fastiggi will talk on starting and first leg strategy.

Monday May 17^th, 1999 - Shore Sails owner, Lightning sailor from way back & owner of "Peregrine", Don Brush will talk on race day tactics from the weather report the night before to winding down with post race beers.

Remember to bring questions for the 1/2-hour question period to follow!!!
