Citizens' Adverse Committee on the Future of Lake Champlain The Vermont Citizens' Advisory Committee on Lake Champlain's Future invites
the public to comment on its 1999 draft Action Plan prepared for the Vermont Legislature.
"The Committee is required to report to the Vermnot Legislature yearly regarding
issues and concerns facing Lake Champlain," said Chairperson Buzz Hoerr. "This
year's report includes recommendations on phosphorus reductions, water chestnut
harvesting, and cultural, recreational and fish & wildlife issues."

public meetings, generally on the third Monday of each month. On Monday, January 18th, the
Citizens Advisory Committee will host a meeting at the Lake Champlain Basin Science
Center, One College Street, Burlington, VT at 1800 to take public comment on the draft
